In Tents is a three piece progressive instrumental band with spark and spontaneity. Their music transcends genres to give you a more rounded and unique impression of sound. listening to the band you hear the influences of great progressive bands such as, The Mars Volta, Rx Bandits, Tera Melos, Via Antigua and The Sounds of Animals Fighting. Hailing from Fairfield County, CT the band is fairly new to the scene, dropping their first album, Perspectives, in the spring of 2009. Since then the band has been hard at work on their latest project, "Dusted" which is expected to be released in 2010. Overall, In Tents is more than just a play on words they are the next band to challenge what the world thinks about music. combining highly technical musicianship with the polyrhythmic spirt of a complex equation. In Tents is forever changing and forever moving to the front lines of progressive music.
